3 things Sagoon could have done to improve the website

I have been using Sagoon for the year of its launch. It has some interesting features that are totally unique to all the social media. For those who are not still familiar with Sagoon, I will explain it in short. Sagoon is a social e-commerce platform with the slogan of "Connect, Share and Earn". Sagoon lets us connect with new friends like the majority of social media do. Sagoon differs from other social media in terms of share and earn. It lets you share your secrets that are suffocated inside you due to the lack of sharing options. It may not seem a good idea but I did not feel tired, not even a single time while browsing Sagoon continuously for 1 hour. Also, Sagoon has an aim to provide its users with some portion of its revenue as a reward for the time spent on it. Hope this will be carried out as expected (They had launched the Sagoon Mini IPO too). Mobile app and the most awaited Social Smart Card are announced to inaugurate soon.

Though Sagoon is still in beta version, I saw some of the things lacking on its website. Maybe they are focusing on some standard things, so Sagoon has been operated in beta version for a long time. Hope they will launch a stable version of Sagoon soon.

Here I have compiled some of the limitations I found on Sagoon website while browsing it.

1. Design

I found some shortcomings in the website interface. The solid and sticky navigation on top and the place occupied by it made me frustrating. It would be much better if the site navigation's width was reduced to small or sharing option was placed at the top (horizontally with logo). Also, the post area is too small as most of the space is occupied by the sidebars. It may not influence the users with the high-resolution desktop but it may ruin the users with low-resolution gadgets. This could be easily removed by minimizing the sidebar space. But, the two layout feature (Grid and List) of Sagoon has impressed me a lot. I was fully satisfied with the reaction buttons, though they could be even better if they were provided with a floating feedback.

2. Username

Sagooning experience would be even better if Sagoon allows its user to create/edit the username associated with an account. This would also be beneficial for finding new and existing friends with Sagoon search. I was not able to provide my profile link due to the lack of this feature. Hope they will add this feature soon.

3. Security

Although Sagoon is a secured website, many of the account security features are missing. It may not be necessary for the Facebook or Google Plus sign in but it may hamper for the users signing up from an email account. I see no any security options except for changing the password. What if somebody accessed the account and took all the pieces of personal information away? Secrets would have no meaning. So, proper security options for the user, if provided, Sagoon would be much better.

These were the simple limitations (that may be neglected shortly) I found while browsing Sagoon. Although there are some limitations, Sagoon is the best social media to share the secrets. Sagoon also features real-time weather onscreen which will help you know the weather info and temperature wherever you are. Also, Sagoon allows its user to stay updated and organized by scheduling the projects, tasks, jobs and everything you are planning to do.

Another unique service of Sagoon is "Mood Talk" where users are able to chat variously using different mood emoticons and own custom files as well. The interesting feature of the mood talk is: All the conversations made on it are automatically deleted after 24 hours. It may have both useful and harmful effects but, according to its name (Mood Talk), it may be very advantageous. If you are really interested in Sagoon, you may create a free account on its website.

Have you ever used Sagoon to share secrets? What may be the features that appealed you to use Sagoon? Let me know them via the comment section below.
